ABOUT TERRA MORGAN
Some people come to caregiving. I was born into it.
At six weeks old, I was passed from relative to relative on the drive home from a trip where my grandmother had died — held by people who needed somewhere to put their grief. I've been a caregiver ever since.
Over 35 years of professional caregiving later, the work is still the same at its core: being a calm, present witness to someone else's experience.

MY PHILOSPOHY
Soft and powerful at the same time.
I coined the word metarchy 35 years ago as an undergraduate — meta meaning beyond, arch meaning rule. A world beyond both patriarchy and matriarchy, where everyone has permission to be nurturing and strong, kind and bold.
Both is my favorite word.
